Papertoy

For illustration I had to create a papertoy. First I was having a lot of trouble coming up with designs and ideas for my toy. Eventually I decided I wanted to make a cat, my teacher pointed me to make something for either a pet store or a cat food brand.

For this I chose Royal Canin, pet food. I thought it would be a nice idea to make my own cat. Diesel, the cat I chose to make into a papertoy had PKD (kidney disease), as he was sick he had special food for this, special food that would help his Kidneys. Sadly Diesel passed away on 10th of April in 2020, but this was the perfect opportunity for me to create something that might bring awareness to sick cats with kidney failure or problems.

So for this assignment, I chose Royal Canin as my brand, special kidney helping food for 'purchase group' and chose Diesel to represent this.
